Eyes are bigger than one’s stomach眼睛比肚子還大？

 英解：Someone has taken more food than he or she can possibly eat.

 ◆例句：I can't finish my meal—I guess my eyes were bigger than my stomach!（我吃不下了——我想我的眼睛比我的胃口還大！）

 ‧注：你是不是也跟我一樣，每次去吃到飽的餐廳，就會忍不住想要把所有的食物，都放上小小的盤子裡呢？但是，往往拿的太多，卻造成吃不下而浪費。這樣的情境正好符合英文的俗諺「眼睛大胃口小」。也意味著「貪心」喔！◇
